Introduction

Manmohan Memorial Foundation was established in 2056 B.S. to perpetuate the contributions of Manmohan Adhikari, the tireless warrior of the democratic movement of Nepal, the legacy of the Nepali communist movement, the simple and honest politician of the contemporary Nepali politics and the former Prime Minister as well as Chairman of Communist Party of Nepal (UML). The foundation is establised to immortalize his contribution and to train the future generations from his great work. This foundation aims to perpetuate his contribution in education, health, sports, social welfare of senior citizens.

The foundation has established its central office in Sanepa, Lalitpur; the newly constructed home donated by Mr. Hari Prasad Sharma, the current Secretary of the foundation. 

Objectives of Foundation:

1. Publish the memoroides and articles of and related to Late Manmohan Adhikari.

2. Feciliate and award national personalities contributing country and people in memory of Late Manmohan Adhikari

3. Assist helpless people and families from political movement and contributions for establishment of democracy in Nepal.

4. Establish Libraries, Park and education institutions in the name of Late Manmohan Adhikari to immortalize his contributions.

5.  Oranize activities and programs to strengthen political awareness to people

6. Strengthen healt and education of marginalized class; as well as strengthen their economic and cultural status.

7. Attract youth in sports to promote their role in development work.

8. Organize national and international level of Seminars and Workshops.

9. Research issues and publish to achieve its objectives.

10. Organize different programs and activities to memorize the contributions of Late Manmohan Adhikari to new generations.
